Election 2023 Announcement

Today I am very excited to announce that I will be running for re-election to the Central Bucks School Board this year.  If I am successful, this will mark my third term on the Board.

I am so proud to serve on the Central Bucks School Board and the wonderful students, staff and families of our district. I won’t sugarcoat it, however, and say that this second term has been easy. Public education has faced some very difficult issues over the past 3 years. Here in Central Bucks, we have been in the news all too often recently, and for all the wrong reasons. The current Board majority enacted several poor policies and has wasted hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars defending their untenable position. Banning books and supportive symbols is wrong and does nothing to address real issues our district is facing, like learning loss, teachers/staff shortages, and lack of mental health supports. This struggle and challenge has only strengthened my resolve to continue my work defending and advocating for the public schools I love, and more importantly, our students.

I am running to put a stop to the chaos in our schools and to focus on academics, mental and physical health, and safety and inclusion for all students. I want to see our schools teach independent thinking so that our children can reason for themselves, handle challenging topics and become successful in this country.

Please share this announcement and consider volunteering or donating to my campaign. I need your help to win this election, flip the Board and restore the reputation of our district!

Thank you and I look forward to serving you for four more years.
